i still hear some pitch problems, as in chords not sounding on key... but the vocals sound pretty cool :D this is a different style for you, good job! 1:28 BLEW MY MIND :O it nearly actually blew up :P honestly, i cant unhear this (in a good way) but seriously where do you get these vocals :O the spectrum seems like all the mid frequencies are higher as in more boosted than any other frequencies, i like the classic clap sound, so 5.5 just because ;D

YEA :O

TheMajician responds:

There is an a capella site called Voclr.it. I get most my a capellas there. This one though was from an abletunes pack. And the mid boosting was me (cuz i didnt really wanna use a riser) automating the hyper and flanger dry/wet in a serum FX. As for the pitch its in Fminor and the only black key not in that scale is F#, but i kept forgetting that and i bounce all midi to audio so i couldnt change it:( I was going for the not-what-you-expect kinda drop. So thank you!!

IIEE another Harmor user :D Whoa, ok, where'd u get those vocal samples? What Presets did u use for the drop? and the intro sounds like an edited "growler" preset? anyway, enough questions,

Keep it up bro! :D

DJStormblastXL responds:

I have used Sytrus for the drop/growl. For the vocal, i have register my voice and i have mixed with Vocodex

izzat GMS?

Hyenaedon responds:

Yeah i used that quite a bit awhile ago xP

The sub bass is so cool :) but it mostly sounds off pitch, and the vocals are off in BPM and i think Key :P so...3.5 stars, i would spend some time polishing it to be on pitch, and then it would sound SO MUCH better. good song tho, and the way you put the sounds together is always amazing, just work on some pitch stuff, and it will be good :)

TheMajician responds:

Thank you for always leaving nice and thoughtful reviews! I really appreciate it! I will work on more pitch correction in the future. Thanks again!

Sup? :)

TheMajician responds:

Yo. Apparently the word "Yo" is too short so I added this sentence to make it longer

4.5 stars.

Loving the intro, and the progression with some extra SFX to make it sound more full, the sweepy sound at 35 sounds really cool, and that arp right after sounds like some sort of synthetic steel drum ;) The trap-ish snare works really well with the build up riser, and i like the EQing and reverb you added to the clap. the chorus/ drop (i honestly am not sure which is the correct term in future bass) kinda reminds me of Bossfight-Elevatia, with the chords, and that sort of synthetic voice you added worked perfectly with the drums and the side sidechain. the breakdown sounds too much like the intro, and you should add a sweep, or cyblal right after, to make it have more of a flow, if you know what i mean, and at the 2nd steel drum-ish arp, the trap high hat is a bit fast for 150, but it works out twell with the rest of the song. right after the 2nd drop, THAT is a correct breakdown :D 3:12 sounds too fast, even though you are sticking to the main BPM... not sure how you are supposed to fix that :P and is that bass/growl a serum preset? and the end really sums up the rest of the song perfectly.

Good luck with future songs- DJRadiocutter :)

TheMajician responds:

Thanks for the awesome review bro! They chorus/drop part is still called the drop in future bass, it just has a softer feel. Fun fact about this, i actually haf vocals over this, thats why some parts sound kinda similiar, the arp would have been taken out to make room for the vocals. I ended up not having them in because they werent in key. They were Dmin the track was in Emin. I had to take them out. Yeah, i cant really slow down the too fast parts becuase they are in tempo, but i relistened and heard what you meant. The growls were made in serum, but I made them. HP filter, an effector, LFO speed, and stereo width are all being automated.
Thanks again for the review, really appreciate it!

Nice! I totally get what u mean in the PM! And I like the drop, but some of it sounds a bit too fast for the breakdown after it.

Keep it up!

TheMajician responds:

Thanks bro, and you too!

Nice song. Sent you an invite on hangouts! Just one thing on waterflame's style though, i honestly think that he is missing a lot of good actual song structure, considering that the last, like 3 or4 of his songs have not actually had a chorus, drop, or verse. i still like it, just i miss the old WF. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Hyenaedon responds:

Hmm personally i like his old and new, for different reasons. His older stuff is just so fun and exciting, but his newer stuff is good imo because it has a great atmosphere and the sounds themselves are so interesting. But thats just me =}
